THE STARKIDS ACADEMY was founded in 2014 by MUSTAPHA QUDUS OLANREWJU, it was a movement that started with just 5 girls in april 2014 at the freedom park Lagos, the academy Is a platform for all kids who are talented in the art of dancing to be able to showcase their god given gift and not be shy about it.
THE STARKIDS started as a group with no name and for three months it remained so until the founder gave it the name “STARKIDS” since it started with kids.
The group was first introduced to the public on the last Saturday of July 2014 at “ROOTED” a reggae event by MR RAHEEM AGORO that hold at the freedom park every last Saturday of the month, after the first performance, the group got a lot of positive reviews and that encouraged the continuous movement of the academy, some of the event the group had participated in are “MALTINA DANCE HALL” 2014, ”WAJO” a dance event that holds every last Thursday of the month at the freedom park, “RAW SKILLZ” a SILVERBIRD sponsored program that hold at the galleria monthly and GCGT(Gods children got talent competition) where some of our students received award of excellence.
